Lithograph in colors titled "Le Songe du Capitaine" from his illustrations of Daphnis and Chloe, the two friends who face life's tribulations together, from growing up to falling in love.  The incredible work of art from the edition of 250 was published in 1961 by Teriade Editeur of Paris, printed to the edges of the full sheet as published, with the vertical centerfold as issued, is guaranteed authentic, and accompanying the purchase, the buyer shall receive a Gallery letter of authenticity. It is also catalogued by Moulot, #328, #46 in the Cramer catalog and was purchased from the esteemed Chagall Gallery, Willianm A. Findlay Gallery of Chicago.  The piece is of versatile size measuring 16" x 25" complimented by a very ornate frame with approximate dimensions of 26" x 35".
