"Original Flag with Heart Ceramic", was done in 1991 when Max was experimenting with his own kiln.  However, it was a lengthy time commitment with many processes which in the same span he could paint several large canvases like the one he presented to President Bush with the same imagery.  Thus very few of the ceramics works are known to be available.  The immaculately detailed portrait of his iconic Flag with Heart is of impressive size, measuring 10.5" in diameter approximately, 14" x 14" with the hand painted borders and 24" x 24" with the custom made frame.  It is even better to look at in person, a perfect addition to any home or office and, is in excellent condition.  Furthermore, it is one the nicest paintings by Max we have ever seen, signed and dated on the verso, Max Studio Reference number P300, and comes with a Gallery Letter of Authenticity.
