"Original Zero Megalopolis" by Peter Max
Acrylic Painting on a Glazed Ceramic Plate
10.5" in diameter approximately, (14 x 14" with the hand painted borders)
24" x 24"
"Original Zero Megalopolis", was done in 1990 when Max was experimenting with his own kiln. However, it was a lengthy time commitment with many processes which in the same span he could paint several large canvases. Thus very few of the ceramics works are known to be available. The immaculately detailed portrait of his iconic Zero is of impressive size, measuring 10.5" in diameter approximately, 14 x 14" with the hand painted borders and 24" x 24" with the custom made frame. It is even better to look at in person, a perfect addition to any home or office and, is in excellent condition. Furthermore, it is one the nicest paintings by Max we have ever seen, hand signed in the along the left edge, (also signed and dated on the verso), Max Studio Reference number P90, and comes with a Gallery Letter of Authenticity.
